Real Estate advertising can be an expensive waste of money! Make sure your Agent offers a choice of cost effective marketing options which are designed to attract the right buyer to your property, without leaving "a hole in your pocket".

CHOOSING A HIGH QUOTING AGENT:
Choosing an Agent based on their “appraisal” could be the biggest mistake you make!  Why? Because Real Estate Agents are not accountable for the price they quote unless it is in writing and they guarantee to achieve that price or charge you nothing.  If in doubt insist on a written guarantee that the agent will achieve the price they quote or don’t list with them.

 

SELECTING A CHEAP AGENT:
Cheap Agents get cheap prices!  If an Agent discounts their own pay they will also discount your price to buyers.  Remember: ….. The cheapest agent is not the agent who charges the least, it is the agent who gets you the highest price!  Choose an Agent who is a good negotiator.  They will earn their fee by the price they achieve for you.

NOT TRUSTING YOUR AGENT:
An honest Real Estate Agent should provide you with references from satisfied clients and contact details for their present clients.
Ask yourself … Do I feel comfortable with this Agent?
Can I trust them to look after my most valuable asset?
If it’s not a resounding “Yes” … don’t hire them.

NO BUYER RECORDS:
Very few Real Estate Agents keep detailed records of buyers ….  Insist on seeing the Agent’s Buyers Log, and if they don’t have one, do not list with them.
